Hi. I'm Dustin.
I started in the pool business in Canton, Michigan back in 1993, working at Pool Chem. My first job was simple — carrying chlorine and supplies to customers’ cars — but over those five years I learned the ins and outs of pool chemistry, customer service, and what real reliability looks like.
In 1998, I moved to California, started a family, and spent several years behind a corporate desk. It paid the bills, but I missed hands-on work. So in 2007, my wife and I moved our family back to Michigan, and I returned to Pool Chem — this time learning the service side from Chuck, one of the best in the business.
After 16 years of servicing hundreds, if not thousands, of pools across Southeast Michigan, I decided it was time to start fresh — or as we like to say, go back to Square One. That’s how Square One Pool Service was born.
Today, our team provides reliable pool servicing including openings, closings, weekly maintenance, water testing, equipment installation, and safety cover installation throughout Canton, Plymouth, Livonia, Northville, Novi, Westland, Belleville, and South Lyon.
